Well, we had a GREAT Thanksgiving! Mason was old enough to enjoy it this year, even though he had a little bit of a cough over the holiday week. He got to spend the beginning of the week with his Grammy babysitting M-W and ended the week staying at Grandma's for a few days, so he got lots of love!
Kelli threw Madison and me a wonderful baby shower on Saturday & we had a great turn out. We got a TON of adorable girl clothes & Randal and I had fun organizing them and getting them washed and ready when we got home! Randal got to help my dad and brother hang Christmas lights, so that was fun too :)
I had a great doctor's appt last week. My sonogram showed that Madison's growth was right on schedule and that we would be totally in the clear for delivery whenever she is ready to come. We went ahead and scheduled an induction for a week before my due date. Apparently Wesley is really full that week with the holidays, etc, so the only time slot that was open was 12/17 at 5pm, so we are on the calendar. Unless she decides to come on her own before then, she probably won't be making an appearance until the 18th, so we look forward to meeting her then! We are busy getting the last things ready for her arrival and preparing for life with 2 kids (wow wow wow!!!!). I am ready for Christmas and am looking forward to spending lots of time with our families as we get used to our new schedule and I recover!

Way too long!
Ok, so it's been FOREVER since I posted anything, so I'm sorry for that! I have not been good about documenting everything that is going on with us or this pregnancy - maybe a need for an early New Year's Resolution!
Anyway, things have been going really well and we're just preparing for Madison to arrive! My placenta previa has cleared up and we are just waiting for D-Day. We are talking about an early induction so that Randal acn be guaranteed a couple of weeks at home before he will be on PTO lock-out during tax season (we cut this a little close to the end of the year!). We have a sonogram scheduled for next Tuesday so that we can make sure that she is growing properly and would be alright if we had her a little bit early, so hopefully that all goes well!
Mason is getting bigger every day! He is really trying to talk like a big boy and likes to jabber, jabber, jabber. He has started repeating what we say to him - things like "basketball" and "boat" (he likes the B words for some reason!). He has started paying more attention to the TV as well as other things going on around him and even seemed very enthralled with the KU-Memphis game the other night! The boy loves his sports! He is running all over the place and getting a little hard to keep up with as I continue to get bigger and slower! Randal has been on full-time duty trying to keep an eye on him! :)
We are gearing up for the holidays & I'm getting very excited! Thanksgiving is next week and we will be having 3 different get-togethers. I am wrapping up my Christmas shopping and hoping to everything wrapped and together by the time Madison arrives so that I don't have to worry about it! Hopefully, I can spend some quality time in the kitchen this weekend and get a good supply of sugar cookies, puppy chow, and pumpkin rolls in the freezer so that will be ready to roll as well!
On a personal note, I have been overwhelmed with excitement of the news that several people that we know are in the process of adopting children from other countries. This has always been a desire of mine and I am so excited for these families that are taking this huge leap of faith & wanting to take these kids into their families as their own! That's all - I just needed to say that! Praise God for those opportunities!!!
